The Protective Equipment Alliance is a coalition of U.S. based nonprofit organizations, business leaders, researchers and athletes offering a platform of community engagement, occupational awareness and education to address the critical need for First Responder access to protective equipment. Illness and injuries continue to climb and without exposure reduction protocols community services are impacted by the loss of responders.
To provide First Responders with equipment that reduces their exposure to occupational hazards. This includes Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. additional PPE ensemble, full coverage particulate blocking hoods & undergarments), ballistic vests, fire ground decontamination kits, PPE transport bags, washable radio cases & straps, diesel exhaust & PPE extractors and detox saunas. Most of this equipment is expensive and beyond the budget for many municipal and volunteer departments. This is where you can help by providing a donation, sponsoring a department or participating in a local event.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a product collection designed to protect First Responders from injury and illnesses attributed to contact with biohazards, environmental, physical, mechanical, radiological or other exposures.
